Your Role

Team & Stakeholder Management
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of SAP Master Data Analysts responsible for day-to-day data operations.
• Oversee the external Application Maintenance Support (AMS) partner team, ensuring performance, compliance, and effective knowledge transfer.
• Serve as the first point of contact for business functions and global stakeholders (including Product Managers, Division VPs, and Function Heads) for any master data-related topics.

Service Delivery & Governance
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of master data requests in line with defined SLAs and ITSM processes.
• Maintain end-to-end data lifecycle processes including:
 – Customer, Vendor, Material, and Employee master data
 – Pricing, Holds, Internet Sales, and Reporting
• Act as the escalation point for complex or high-priority issues.

Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
• Drive standardization and process optimization for MDM across regions and functions.
• Collaborate with Data Governance and Data Quality teams to enforce data standards, validations, and controls.
• Continuously analyze performance metrics to identify areas of improvement in turnaround time, data accuracy, and service quality.

Project Support & Strategic Initiatives
• Represent MDM in cross-functional or global projects (e.g., digital transformation, platform changes, data quality system rollouts).
• Contribute to and lead automation and process improvement initiatives, including potential RPA/Winshuttle integrations.

Documentation & Training
• Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of processes and knowledge base materials.
• Provide/Co-ordinate internal training to new team members.


To Succeed, You Will Need

Education Level:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, or equivalent.

Work Experience:
• Overall minimum 6 Years of IT experience with minimum 4 years of SAP Master Data Management experience, including hands-on and leadership exposure.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and external service providers.
• Experience working in a global environment with distributed teams and time zones.
• Experience leading and mentoring Master Data Management (MDM) team members.

IT Skills:
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC (VTSAP and LeySAP) across core modules: MM, SD, FI, and integration points.
• Good understanding of SAP master data structure, lifecycle, and interdependencies.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) and service delivery practices.
• Working knowledge of automation tools like Winshuttle, RPA, and basic scripting.
• Advanced level of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel/Word/Outlook).

Other Skills:
• Advanced experience with all SAP Modules related to Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master & others.
• Excellent understanding of the structure of data used in SAP reference data as well as awareness of the effect changes may have.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to name problems, trends, develop solutions and implement a course of action.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels (including VPs and senior business leaders).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail, data quality awareness, and process orientation.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and capable of driving results in a complex matrix environment.
