Your Role:
The purpose of this job is to contribute to a team of SAP security operations specialists that monitor and respond to SAP security events, security solution transition into operation and optimization that enable the Vacuum Technique organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from threats and vulnerabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
Actively contribute as a member of the VT infrastructure – Security team, who will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day SAP security related tasks (in close partnership with IT infrastructure & VTBA functional teams) such as:
- Develop and enforce SAP security policies and procedures, aligning them with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in SOX compliance initiatives related to SAP security, ensuring controls are implemented, monitored, and documented.
- Collaborate with internal and external SAP audit teams to facilitate SAP security audits and address compliance findings.
- Conduct SoD analysis to identify and mitigate conflicts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
- Implement and enhance mitigating controls to address SAP access identified risks.
- Design and execute regular user access reviews to validate appropriateness of access rights.
- Work closely with business units to streamline access review processes and promptly address any identified discrepancies.
- Review and optimize the SAP role matrix to ensure alignment with business processes and SAP security requirements.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams to understand role requirements and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain procedures for emergency user access, adhering to security protocols and ensuring proper approvals.
- Respond promptly to emergency access requests, facilitating necessary actions and documentation.
- Establishing and implementing SAP security standards, processes, and procedures
- Investigate and resolve authorization issues reported by end users using SU53 or other related tools.
- Provide timely support to address user access challenges and discrepancies, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Co-ordination of internal and external security scanning and the efficient remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Define and assign roles and permissions of enterprise applications; segregation of duties, audit activities of administrators and users, when required.
- Represent SAP Security Team in the global technology team. Be a central point of contact for day-to-day activities and relationships with key stakeholders for SAP Security Operations activities wherever applicable.
- Establish metrics and monitoring to report the effectiveness and efficiency of the SAP Security Operations function.
- Identify and implement new ways to automate and improve SAP security across the business.
- Working collaboratively with other IT/Security Operations, Information Security, Architecture, Business and PMO teams within Vacuum Technique and the wider Atlas Copco Group applicable activities.
To succeed, you will need:
Education level: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant Previous experience:
- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security administration, including a strong focus on SOX compliance and SoD analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, user access management, and role design, SAP change management process.
- Hands on experience with SAP audit processes, risk management, access and process control frameworks including ITGC audits.
- Proven experience in conducting user access reviews, role matrix reviews, and emergency user access management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex SAP security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- SAP certifications in security-related modules are highly desirable.
Knowledge areas/Skills (Expertise in two or more areas):
- SAP ERP Security Architecture
- Knowledge of broad range of SAP products such as APO, EWM, HANA, GRC, MDG, CRM etc.
- Familiarity with securing SAP systems in cloud environments
- Knowledge on S/4HANA security redesign
