Sr Mechanical Engineer/ Assistant Manager - Mechanical

As a Sr Mechanical Engineer/ Assistant Manager - Mechanical , your mission is to As mechanical engineer, you take full ownership of Mechanical design for our EngineeredSolutions orders.

You will be resposible.

1. Contribute to the company’s mission to become the benchmark product company within AC group by ensuring high reliability of the Engineered products with a First Time Right approach.
2. Take ownership in the field of mechanical engineering for Custom Design/Engineered packages orders and lead it from request from Customer, till delivery of the product. You coordinate tasks to respect to the set planning.
3. You will be part of engineering function and work closely with projects,Sourcing, Planning, Production, Quality, and Aftermarket to implement the proven designs in Oil free/Oil injected/Centrifugal compressors/Quality Air products.
4. You need to participate in Kick off meetings, HAZOP meeting, 3D model reviews with customers, end users.
5. You will be a Mechanical lead from engineering to lead the engineering of respective project where you have to design and release solutions,Bill of materials for custom designed products, OEM applications.

1. Total 7-8 years of experience with minimum 4-5 years experience  in Engineered products for Oil & Gas market from Centrifugal Compressor or Centrifugal Pumps background.
2. Should have experience of handling Oil & gas major customers engineered products/projects for Centrifugal compressor technology for customers from Middle east, Indian refineries/oil production fields, south east Asia etc.
3. Should be aware of API672 requirements for Centrifugal compressor in Oil & gas industry.
4. Experience of Oil injected screw , Oil Free screw compressors will be added adgantage.
5. Experience of dryers & Nitrogen generators will be added advantage.
6. Need good experience in structural design (skid frames), packaging & layouting, codes and standards for pressure vessel, skids sections, pipings and coolers.
7. Should be able to design the piping layouts
8. Should have experience of handling Customer specifications in Oil & Gas market
9. Should be able to understand FEA analysis, wind & seismic analysis, PV lite pressure vessel calculations, HTRI calculations for coolers.
10. Practical experience in 2D and 3D layout designs
11. Should be familiar with basics of electricals i.e. Motors, Control panels , PLC panels , instruments.
12. Should be familiar with basics of valves (ball valves, butterfly valves, actuated valves etc) & filtrations.
13. Familiar with DFMEA, safety review and related legal requirements.
14. Experience in coordinating other team members in projects and cross functional teams.
15. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
16. Ability to handle supporting engineers team.

Knowledge/Educational requirements

1. University degree in Mechanical engineering or similar through experience, major in mechanical engineering or related area.
2. Good command of English (both oral and written)
