The role:

Are you looking for a challenge that will directly contribute to the smart factory realization in the manufacturing sector? As a Global Head of Marketing and Business Development, your mission will be to deliver sustainable, profitable and inclusive growth by driving transformation to more advanced solutions in Quality Assurance and Manual Tightening. 

You will be part of the Product Company BLM/Milan management team and report directly to the General Manager. 

 

Your main responsibilities will be to: 

 

  • Lead, develop and coach the Product Marketing, Product Support (Tech Center Milano), Business Development, Digital and Competence teams ensuring that the right competences are in-place, maximizing performance and securing alignment with the Atlas Copco culture 

  • Lead product planning activities that will secure unrivalled customer value 

  • Lead and secure successful product launches as well as product phase-outs/pruning 

  • Actively visit and provide a fast, reliable and professional support to Customer Centers 

  • Develop and implement a business strategy in cooperation with key stakeholders to accelerate growth 

  • Identify and secure new growth opportunities for the Motor Vehicle, General Industry and Service Divisions by working close to customers, sales, R&D, service and operations 

  • Build a network of direct and indirect promoters that will contribute to the development of the business 

  • Develop Sales and Marketing materials with extra emphasis on digital, with strong value propositions in collaboration with external partners and agencies 

  • Develop and implement a robust and comprehensive competence development program for the global organization to support the business development ambitions 

 

This position requires extensive traveling. 

 

Experience requirements 

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in global sales and business development (e.g.: Atlas Copco Customer Center), product marketing and development (e.g.: Atlas Copco Product Company) 

  • 3+ years of leadership and people management experience 

  • Knowledge of the manufacturing sector such as customers, applications and processes 

  • Work experience with Strategic Partnership Selling (SPS) or similar 

  • Building and presenting strong customer value propositions 

  • Advanced Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Teams 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

 

Educational requirement

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Marketing and/or Business Administration 

  • Fluent English and additional language is a plus
