You will report to the Hardware Line Manager, will work closely with the Product Manager and will be responsible for initiating and maintaining effective and timely information sharing within their area of expertise and across other company departments.
Your goal is to enable integrated, consistent actions aimed at achieving maximum customer satisfaction.
You will support continuous innovation and the development of new market-leading products, interacting with international teams and production sites worldwide.
In this role, you will:
- Translate regulatory safety and certification requirements (UL, CE, FCC, RED, KCC, EN-61000) into design specifications for engineers
- Collect and present design documentation required by certification bodies
- Review technical changes to safety-critical components to assess risk levels and ensure proper verification is completed before release
- Provide guidance to ensure compliance with relevant certification standards, including upcoming changes to applicable regulations
- Review label designs, technical publications, and operating manuals to ensure compliance with the intended operating environment and proper marking
- Participate in any product safety escalations and provide input on containment and corrective actions
- Advise project leaders and engineers on safety and certification requirements, including testing and design constraints for mechanical, environmental, and electronic aspects
- Support the hardware team in maintaining technical documentation related to cables, wiring, and electrical systems
To succeed, you will need
We are looking for a curious, proactive team player with a technical background, preferably holding a degree in Electronic Engineering.
We also welcome candidates with a diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Technology who possess
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret standards such as UL, CE, FCC, RED, KCC, EN61000, and apply them to product
- Knowledge of radio standards is appreciated (ETSI EN 301 489-1, -3, -17; ETSI EN 300 220; ETSI EN 300 328; ETSI EN 301 893; FCC CFR 47 Subpart B; EN 61010; EN 6236
- Knowledge of Altium Designer 25 for viewing and editing electrical schematics
- Capacity to effectively communicating proposed strategies and legal requirements to senior management
- Ability to interact productively with all levels of internal and external personnel
- Experience in design practices that facilitate product certification
- Strong ability to write technical documentation and design specifications
- Capacity of performing verification tests and documenting results independently
- Proficiency in MS Project and basic knowledge of Project Management
- Familiarity with Lean methodology for new product development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP for coding electrical/electronic components and managing product BOMs
- Fluent in English to interact with international teams; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for short business trips
