Marketing Application Engineer

Your role
As a Marketing Apllication Engineer, your mission is to enable sales acting point of contact between Product Company and Customer Centers. You will report to the Divisional Product and Application Manager and ensure alignment with divisional strategies and objectives.
You will
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customers during pre-sales and bidding phases
- Provide Business support & follow up to customers (internal & external)
- Translate customer requirements into optimized technical solutions and product recommendations
- Manage and drive the product development (according to global product strategy) from feasibility till series production via PCM & PTM
- Monitor product quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives providing feedback
- Conduct internal intensive training for all products, applications knowledge, sales arguments and competition knowledge
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R\&D, sales, and project/product teams to drive technical and business strategies
- Coordinate project implementation, including commissioning, training, and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and maintain Pump Selector tool
To succeed, you will need
- Experience of products & marketing within the Pump industry
- Experience in design and development from and Engineering point of view
- University degree in Engineering is a plus
- Able to build strong & effective working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Pro-active and a dynamic performer with strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills, always striving at new challenges and ideas
- Working Knowledge of Atlas Copco Dewatering Products is a plus
- Good commercial, diplomatic and negotiating skill
- Good knowledge of Italian and English, both fluency and writing

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at Varisco S.r.l. Padova, Italy.
