Aftermarket Sales Engineer - Compressor Technique (CTS)

Are you a driven and technically-minded sales professional looking to make a significant impact? We're seeking an Aftermarket Sales Engineer to join our Compressor Technique (CTS) team and drive sales growth within a defined territory.

About the Role

As an Aftermarket Sales Engineer, your primary mission will be to grow the sales of our Compressor Technique portfolio, which includes compressed air, industrial gas, and air treatment solutions. You'll be instrumental in expanding our market presence and achieving business targets by identifying opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and proactively managing sales activities.

This is a dynamic role where you'll have the autonomy to manage your territory while benefiting from collaborative support from our service department. If you're passionate about sales, possess a strong technical aptitude, and thrive in a results-oriented environment, we want to hear from you

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Analyse market potential based on territory, industry sectors, and our CTS product mix.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute sales activities to convert potential into orders and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting for new business.
  • Effectively use our CRM system for customer data, activity planning, prioritization, and monitoring.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess market trends, identify new applications for CTS, and monitor competitor activities, adhering to the Atlas Copco Business Code of Practice.
  • Actively target non-Atlas Copco customers and effectively use provided sales tools.
  • Work closely with the service department to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, maintain, and convert a healthy sales pipeline to meet targets.
  • Work autonomously, monitor market activity within your territory, and produce accurate monthly sales forecasts using the CRM system.

To succeed, you will need

We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.

  • A technical degree, and/or technical/mechanical/electrical qualifications, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven sales experience in both business development and account management.
  • A strong technical understanding, ideally with exposure to compressed air and industrial gas applications and products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Intermediate IT skills.
  • A clean, full driver's license is essential

In return, we offer

A challenging and rewarding role within a global leader in compressed air and industrial gas solutions. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, develop your skills, and grow your career within a supportive and professional environment. We are committed to fostering a culture that values professional conduct, corporate responsibility, and the well-being of our employees
