[Purpose of this Job]
- Act as a Finance Business Partner by supporting the Business Controller in driving business performance through financial planning, performance analysis, and value-added business insights.
- Ensure financial integrity and governance by delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and supporting compliance with IFRS, Group policies, and statutory requirements.
- Support strategic decision-making and business growth by providing meaningful financial analysis, identifying business opportunities and risks, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while developing capabilities for a future Business Controller role
[Duties&Responsibility]
- Coordinate the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes by delivering accurate financial projections, meaningful variance analysis, and actionable business insights.
- Monitor and analyze key financial and operational KPIs, including Orders, Revenue, Gross Profit, Market Contribution, Functional Cost Efficiency, Working Capital, and Cash Flow, identifying performance drivers, business risks, and opportunities to improve business performance.
- Support the Business Controller in facilitating Monthly Business Review (MBR) meetings by analyzing business performance, preparing financial insights, identifying improvement opportunities, and tracking agreed action plans.
- Coordinate the allocation of shared costs across Business Areas and Business Lines, ensuring consistent allocation methodologies, cost transparency, and accurate business performance measurement.
- Support the Business Controller in preparing executive-level financial analyses and presentation materials for Country Review Meetings (CRM), Business Review Meetings (BRM), management reviews, and other strategic discussions.
- Perform profitability analysis, pricing analysis, business case evaluations, scenario analysis, and other ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions and business performance improvement.
- Lead and develop the Financial Analyst by providing clear direction, coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities to ensure high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
- Partner with the Financial Service Center (FSC) to ensure accurate accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with IFRS, The Way We Do Things, Group Finance guidelines, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate monthly financial closing activities and ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting for Group and local management.
- Coordinate monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations with FSC and quarterly Balance Sheet Reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
- Ensure revenue recognition complies with IFRS and Group policies, particularly for Service Plans, Project Orders, and other complex customer contracts.
- Review payroll accounting, bonus and incentive accruals, sales incentive calculations, and other significant Finance accruals to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate statutory audits, Group reporting reviews, and external audit activities, ensuring timely audit support and effective resolution of audit requests.
- Strengthen financial governance by monitoring internal controls, reviewing Finance processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and Group guidelines.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, digitalization, data analytics, and process optimization to enhance Finance efficiency, reporting quality, and business performance.
Qualifications
[Experience/Education]
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CPA, CMA, MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred)
- 7~10 years of progressive experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, or Accounting
[Knowledge/Skill]
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or other BI tools is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Native Korean and fluent English (spoken and written)
