Job Description

Job Title: Specialist_Compensation&Benefits

Business Unit: AC

[Purpose of This Job]

•    Responsible for Compensation and benefits process
•    Support HR Manager in employee relations & HR Policies & Guidelines

 

[Duties&Responsibility]

1. Payroll 

  • Ensure timely and accurate salary payments for office employees.
  • Manage and supervise payroll outsourcing provider.
  • Provide support for expatriates (payroll, tax filing, housing, etc.).
  • Oversee year-end tax settlement in coordination with HR outsourcing partner.
  • Administer retirement pension plans (DB, DC) and calculate related benefits.
  • Coordinate internal audits conducted by accounting firms.
  • Handle monthly payroll and financial closing processes.

2. Compensation & Benefits

  • Execute annual salary review plans and support collective bargaining/salary negotiations by analyzing compensation data and union demands under the guidance of the HR Manager.
  • Design and propose total rewards packages, including compensation and benefits.
  • Benchmark company benefits against industry standards through surveys and data analysis, and develop improvement recommendations.
  • Manage employee benefit programs such as group life insurance, housing loans, hobby clubs, flexible benefit plans, and condolence/congratulatory gifts.

3. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, revise, and communicate HR policies and guidelines to ensure alignment with company culture and legal requirements.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to employees on HR-related services and inquiries.
  • Stay current with local labor laws and ensure compliance across HR practices.
  • Ensure HR documentation and practices meet internal and external audit standards.

4. Employee Relations

  • Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor employee engagement and satisfaction, and collaborate with relevant teams to improve workplace culture.
  • Facilitate Labor-Management Council and internal management meetings.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on workplace concerns and interpersonal issues.

Qualifications

[Experience/Education]

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits within a multinational company.
  • Proven experience in managing payroll outsourcing vendors.
  • Solid understanding of local labor laws and HR-related regulations.

[Knowledge/Skills]

  • Proficient in English (both spoken and written).
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and self-motivation.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • High level of integrity, ethical standards, and professional maturity.
  • Ability to manage stress and perform effectively under pressure.
