[Purpose of this Job]

  • The Financial Analyst supports the Business Controller and Assistant Business Controller by performing financial analysis, data reconciliation, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting and transparency of financial performance.
  • The role assists management by providing financial insights through reporting, analysis, and forecasting support, while contributing to the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports to the Group.

 

[Duties&Responsibility]

  • Support financial reporting activities in SAP and GPSNG in accordance with IFRS and Group policies by working closely with FSC (Financial Service Center).
  • Assist in analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), particularly financial metrics such as Orders, Revenues, Gross Profit, Market Contribution, Functional Costs efficiency, and Working Capital, and help identify drivers of variances.
  • Support budgeting, financial projections, operating forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for the Business Controller and management.
  • Support monthly account reconciliation with FSC and assist in Balance Sheet reviews to ensure the accuracy and validity of reported balances.
  • Support monitoring of billing milestones and invoicing schedules for Project orders and Service Plans, and follow up with relevant teams to ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time.
  • Assist in reviewing payroll-related accounting including bonus, incentive, and personnel cost accruals.
  • Support the Business Controller and Assistant Business Controller in preparing rolling forecasts and financial planning materials.
  • Support finance improvement initiatives and participate in finance-related projects to improve productivity and reporting processes.
  • Support monitoring of internal control processes across finance and operational activities to ensure compliance with Group policies.
  • Assist in reviewing sales incentive calculations where applicable.
  • Support monitoring of warranty claims and reimbursements from Product Companies (PCs) and ensure rejected warranty items are properly classified as goodwill to prevent cost misallocation and related compliance risks.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing financial data, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

[Experience/Education]

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
  • 0–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis

 

[Knowledge/Skill]

  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Native Korean and fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, AICPA, or equivalent accounting qualifications are preferred
