The Mission

The role of National Account Manager at National Tank & Equipment is pivotal in advancing our strategic growth objectives. In this leadership position, you will develop and manage key national accounts by establishing and nurturing long-term partnerships based on trust and performance excellence. You will be instrumental in negotiating and securing Master Service Agreements and long-term contracts that align with both customer needs and our company's vision.

  • Develop comprehensive account strategies that drive revenue growth while aligning with our global business goals.
  • Cultivate robust relationships across customer procurement teams, operations, and executive leadership to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and commercial agreements with a focus on creating value for both the customer and NTE.
  • Utilize CRM tools and market insights to identify new business opportunities and optimize account performance.
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales teams and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless execution and alignment of customer service delivery.

Your mission encompasses being a proactive and strategic leader adept at identifying evolving customer needs and delivering bespoke solutions that secure National Tank & Equipment’s position as a premier rental partner in the industrial market.

To succeed, you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA a plus!
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large national or multi-location accounts within commercial rental equipment sectors or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and RentalMan systems is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation, commercial structuring, and strategic account growth.
  • Strong financial literacy coupled with strategic planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the capacity to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive domestic and occasional international travel.

Job location

This position is headquartered in our Pasadena, United States office, serving as the hub for managing national accounts. The role involves extensive travel across the US to maintain and expand customer relationships, and occasional international travel may be required.
