About the role:
An opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join the team. You will be instrumental in providing support, developing and maintaining operational strategy to achieve a cohesive and successful business unit. Your influential capabilities will drive and manage the day-to-day operational deliverables that will impact overall business units’ growth and success. You will be a part of a high performing and expanding national industry leader who provides support and services in industry sectors including mining, construction, oil & gas
Role Responsibilities:
- Establish and oversee day to day operation deliverables including fostering professional stakeholder relationships to meet and exceed P&L targets.
- Asset and Equipment management (movement, availability, deployment, recovery) to support our clients and project requirements including adherence to established project timelines for deliverable.
- Overseeing rostering requirements and ensuring minimum standards are met when completing works.
- Promote and ensure adherence to company processes, policies and procedures including but not limited to contractors and supplier engagement.
- Influence high-quality outputs by driving a high level of cohesion between both technical and operational side of the business.
- Lead by example by endorsing company values to maintain a positive, safe workplace culture.
- Promote and be an influential driving factor for continuous improvement mindset and drive initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced Operational position.
- Strong commercial knowledge and proven experience meeting targets and budgets.
- A proven track record of supervising a team within an industrial environment
- Ensure safety and quality standards are upheld by fostering a safe, engaged and customer focused culture
- Proven Influential leadership capabilities to develop, empower and motivate employees.
- Passion and commitment for achieving extraordinarily high standards in customer service.
- Knowledge of equipment and plant range, or similar transferrable knowledge
- High level of experience with effective high level internal and external stakeholder management.
- Unwavering integrity to inspire confidence and maintain credibility to support a solution focused environment and drive results.
- Strong communication skills to foster collaboration and trust.
