Field Service Engineer

Your role

Are you looking to take the next step in your career within engineering? Do you enjoy problem-solving, learning new skills, and working directly with customers? We’re looking for a Field-Based Service Engineer/Pipe Fitter to join our team at Anglian Compressors & Equipment Limited.

• Install, service, and repair air compressors and related systems following manufacturer guidelines
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and technical specifications
• Communicate with customers about work required, equipment issues, and recommended actions
• Demonstrate equipment operation when needed
• Diagnose faults and conduct repairs using electrical, mechanical, and electronic understanding
• Work collaboratively with the Field Service Supervisor, Service Administrator, and Lead Engineer
• Provide feedback to management on customer insights and opportunities for product improvement
• Maintain accurate service records and identify required parts
• Stay updated on new technologies, engineering updates, and best practices
• Support the wider team as needed, duties may vary depending on business needs

• Experience within a service engineering or technical environment
• Relevant technical qualification OR equivalent experience
• Electronic, electrical, or mechanical engineering skills
• Customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Physically fit and comfortable working in varied environments
• Competent with Microsoft Office (including Excel)
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Full UK driving licence (3 points or fewer)
