Developer Experience Engineer (DevOps / DevSecOps)

We are looking for a Developer Coding Engineer (DevOps / DevSecOps) who enjoys hands-on engineering and creating practical solutions that teams can use immediately. This role focuses on turning best practices into real, scalable capabilities that support developers across the organisation.
Your mission: to improve the day-to-day developer experience by designing and building development practices, tooling, and automation that reduce complexity and increase reliability — ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and widely used.
You will:
- Design and maintain standard templates and boilerplates (repositories, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code)
- Define and implement quality and security gates across development workflows
- Enable and integrate approved development and AI tooling into daily engineering practices
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to validate solutions through pilot projects
- Align solutions with practical application delivery needs
- Continuously refine practices based on feedback and real usage
- Design and demonstrate production-ready patterns, including observability and monitoring
- Ensure tooling aligns with security and compliance requirements
- Contribute to improving reliability, scalability, and operational readiness across solutions

- Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach

- Good understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud-native development
- Experience implementing security and quality controls in pipelinesAutomation and scripting experience
- Typically 6–8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Developer Experience (DevEx), Developer Relations, or internal enablement initiatives
- Experience working in large, distributed organisations
- Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOpsUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Familiarity with code quality and security tools (e.g. SonarQube, GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk)
- Exposure to containers and cloud platforms (e.g. Kubernetes, Azure)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our hub in Prague (Czech Republic), or Pune India, depending on location of candidate.
