Platform & DevEx Lead (Software Development Lighthouse)

Your role
Are you ready to shape how software is built across a global organisation?
At Atlas Copco Group, we are accelerating our shift to modern software development through our Software Development Lighthouse initiative — driving consistency, quality, and a better developer experience with measurable impact.
We are looking for a Platform & DevEx Lead to lead this transformation — combining strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership. In this role, you will define direction, align stakeholders, and ensure solutions are practical, adopted, and impactful.
Your mission is to drive the Lighthouse initiative end to end — setting priorities, enabling adoption, and delivering real improvements in how teams build and deliver software.
You will:
- Define and evolve the SDL vision, roadmap, and priorities
- Drive voluntary adoption of standards and “golden paths” across teams
- Ensure guidance supports real-world application lifecycle needs, beyond initial delivery
- Lead execution in a federated organisation acting as facilitator and coordinator of the initiative, capturing needs and prioritising outcomes
- Coordinate pilot teams and align stakeholders across domains
- Navigate a complex, global environment and build alignment across multiple teams
- Own outcomes and continuous improvement by tracking adoption, outcomes, and value delivered
- Define and steer success metrics, including developer experience and friction reduction
- Establish structured feedback loops with teams to continuously improve practices
- Lead the DevOps Community of Practice
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment across development teams
- Act as a trusted point of reference for modern development practices
