Your role

As an Accountant, your mission is to help build a service center of excellence in AtR area and ensure group and statutory reporting in time and great quality, contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. You will be cooperating with respective business areas and report to the Finance Services Manager.

 

You will:

 

  • Be responsible for Czech Republic.
  • Lead of accounting and reporting processes, follow “The Way We Do Things”: responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports.
  • Control period end closing.
  • Support business areas and Finance team providing professional advices regarding accounting and reporting.
  • Lead and provide Statutory activities for Legal entities.
  • Be responsible for Hard Close and  Statutory audit coordination and support.
  • Be responsible for Corporate Income Tax coordination and support.
  • Coordinate work and solve requirements during Tax inspections.
  • Provide Statutory Statistics reports and other taxes.
  • Provide Reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
  • Establish proper level of internal controls over accounting, taxation and reporting processes, actively participate in policies and procedures implementation.
  • Actively participate in process and systems improvements and development.
  • Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of processes in responsible areas.
  • Actively participate and sometimes lead the internal accounting and reporting projects.

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
  • Secondary or university education in economics, accounting, or finance.
  • Very good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP and SAP BW is a big  plus.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • A results‑focused mindset with the ability to make well‑reasoned decisions.
  • The ability to manage priorities and perform well under strict deadlines.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our hub in Prague, Czech Republic (CZ).
