Your role

We’re looking for a proactive, curious, and improvement‑driven professional to help us elevate our Finance processes through smart automation and continuous optimization. If you enjoy turning complex workflows into simple, efficient solutions — and you like working at the intersection of Finance, technology, and innovation — this role is for you. You’ll play a key part in shaping how our Finance function operates, especially within the Accounting to Reporting (AtR) area. Your work will directly influence efficiency, quality, and user experience across the organization.

 

You will: 

 

  • Lead improvements across Finance processes, with a strong focus on the AtR stream.
  • Analyze current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose automation opportunities that enhance quality and performance.
  • Translate business needs into clear, high‑level requirements and impact assessments.
  • Support the development and rollout of new applications that expand AtR process coverage using Atlas Copco standard solutions.
  • Maintain and improve AtR process documentation and training materials to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Smart Automation Team to identify and deliver meaningful efficiencies.
  • Contribute to enhancements in SAP standard processes within the AtR area.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Finance tools and applications, prepare or review functional specifications, and support testing with IT.
  • Collect and evaluate automation ideas from stakeholders and help turn them into practical, scalable solutions.
  • Recommend modern alternatives to outdated tools to improve user experience and process performance.
  • Actively explore new automation technologies and approaches to keep our Finance processes future‑ready.

  • Extensive knowledge and hand-on experience with General Ledger processes.
  • Experience with process in business unit is a big plus.
  • Broad knowledge of other processes in accounting area would be a plus.
  • Experience with project management or process improvement initiatives would be a plus.
  • Great analytical and problem solving background.
  • SAP knowledge essential incl. Finance related module(s).
  • SAP scripting would be a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft suite.
  • Fluent in English, more languages is a plus.
  • University degree in Finance / Business Administration/Computer science

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our hub in Prague, Czech Republic (CZ).
