Your Role

· Execute activities and achieve targets according to defined plan 

· Lead the team of calibration technicians, including active participation with Head of Calibration Laboratory and planner on planning and recruiting the team members and take full ownership and responsibility for adaptation, managing, developing, appraising and motivating the subordinated employees in line with the company people management strategy and related principles

· Plan, organize, coordinate & check work, processes & activities of the team to ensure efficiency & quality & quantity of work performed by subordinated employees is on desired level, in line with BL plan and KPIs defined in the VCP Letters of the team members

· Continuously check activity hours of subordinated team

· Cooperate actively with Service Sales Engineers and reinforce active cooperation of subordinated employees with both: service sales as well as product sales teams

· Maintain relationship with the customers’ management team, monitor customers’ feedback and promptly handle issues, conflicts or other difficult situations arising with potential influence on business or customer satisfaction

· Report planned & performed activities and other data in line with company rules and standards to the Head of Calibration Laboratory

· Responsibility for data for quoting of calibration to customers and claims reporting in line with internal standards

· Responsibility for prompt reacting and adopting correction action to injuries and other incidents

· Follow and execute IMS policy, objectives, processes and programs, particularly those linked to job performed, actively monitor changes in these standards in order to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the processes

· Act fully in line with Business Code of Practice, The Way We do Things standards, OH&S rules and other internal standards as well as legal regulations relevant for the job performed and ensure these standards are followed by subordinated employees as well

· Take full responsibility and ownership of own professional development and actively participate on development activities in line with set development plan

· Execute other job related activities assigned by Head of Calibration laboratory

· Performing the calibration technician’s tasks

 
To succeed, you will need  

· Education: min. secondary school + graduation, technical education necessary

· Languages: Czech - native, English - Intermediate

· Min. 4 years of relevant experience in similar position (experience in industrial production, maintenance or repair necessary) and senior calibration technician level

· PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel

· Leadership, problem solving & organizing skills

· Independent, self-managed, success-motivated person

· Technical thinking and drive to learn and develop

· Proactivity, flexibility, good communication skill

· Ability to plan & prioritize work efficiently and work under pressure

· Team-player

· Driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
