Your role

As a Credit Control Team Leader, your mission will be to partner with Business Controller, Competence Centre Managers, and other organizations to ensure the business is maximized through the implementation and development of the company credit policies. You will report to AtR Manager.

 

You will:

 

  • Standardize and unify credit control processes within the Prague SSC.
  • Ensure regular team communication and implement a reliable backup structure.
  • Support team development and identify training needs.
  • Allocate team activities efficiently, propose improvements, and coordinate with business for implementation.
  • Explore automation opportunities within the department.
  • Work with the Process and Innovation team to fully utilize the FSCM module.
  • Support development and implementation of policies, processes, and tools to ensure transparency, quality, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to these standards.
  • Manage credit control for new and existing customer accounts; review and maintain credit limits.
  • Engage with customers to ensure timely payments, issue dunning letters, and follow up on blocked orders in line with credit policy.
  • Monitor insolvencies and bankruptcies; coordinate with collection agencies and prepare reports for management when legal action is required.
  • Prepare monthly receivables reports and reconciliations as needed.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate closely with other finance departments.

To succeed, you will need

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit control or receivables management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Great people management and communication.
  • Good command of English, another language is a plus.
  • To be familiar with Atlas Copco’s “The Way We Do Things” and “Business Code of Practice” and apply them in daily operations.

Job location

 

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our financial hub premises in Prague 4.
