Your role

Your mission is to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting and internal cost efficiency, and strategic analysis to support business performance and protect company assets.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Control the business financial cost and assure that financial reporting practices are in line with The Way We Do Things (set of internal rules)
  • Develop a good internal control environment to protect the company’s assets, investigate any potential for efficiency gains.
  • Pursue the internal control and analysis of cost/procedures.
  • Prepare and be able to present functional costs analysis, defining trends, opportunities, risks. Ensure accurate results.
  • Prepare operational, financial analysis and performance reports, review & analyze them before distribution, develop/standardize the reporting packages (i.e. Sustain reporting).
  • Ensure accuracy and timely reporting, have control over reconciliation and periodical closing of data, understand the balance sheet, pro-actively analyze and report to the business controllers the issues.
  • Make sure that red flags are highlighted, action plans set as necessary, enhance open communication with internal/external parties.
  • Support monthly score card package, comment on bridges (YoY, MoM, etc.) or ad hoc analysis.
  • Be deeply involved in preparing the Board pack presentations, future organizational plans setting, internal/external audits.
  • Support the BC and Shared Services teams with control, organization and follow-up of the daily operations.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures, reports, and tools, so that transparency, quality, safety standards arre met and being adhered to. 
  • Drive production and standardization of various reports, including project spend, travel spend.

To succeed, you will need

  • 2–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally with exposure to leadership responsibilities.
  • Solid understanding of F&A processes and sound accounting knowledge.
  • Great people and project management capabilities, with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with a sharp analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; additional language is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Atlas Copco’s The Way We Do Things and Code of Conduct, with a commitment to applying these principles in daily operations.
  • Self-driven and independent, with a curious mind, critical thinking, and a deep sense of ownership.
  • Motivated to deliver results in international environment.
  • Skilled at building and nurturing positive relationships across teams.
  • Open to occasional travel as part of a globally connected role.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our financial hub in Prague 4.
