Group Reporting Systems Analyst

Your role

You will be part of the Global Reporting Team, part of AC Group Center and located in one of our 4 offices over 3 time-zones (Shanghai/ China, Kontich/ Belgium, Prague/ Czech Republic, and Rock Hill/ US). The team’s mission is to support and improve the financial group reporting processes and applications that are used globally within Atlas Copco and safeguard efficient reporting

In this role, you are expected to: 

• Master high-level knowledge of the full group reporting cycle within Atlas Copco, working side by side with our group accounting, controlling, sustainability and various digital and development teams.
• Be the 1st point of contact, providing direct support to the internal world-wide community of financial users in Atlas Copco that are using SAP BW4HANA, SAP BPC, Intercompany Netting & Reconciliation System, Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA) and Group PowerBI.
• Safeguard the monthly group reporting process through a set of monitoring, checks and system admin activities, respecting the strict deadlines.
• Perform the housekeeping, maintenance, and mass communication in relation to the systems in our service scope.
• Give training on demand explaining the processes and how to use our systems.
• Take initiatives in improving our internal processes, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
• Engage in different group projects such as new acquisition integration, global system implementation, etc.

To succeed, you will need

• Bachelor (Master as advantage) in economics, commercial engineering, or IT with a focus on business.
• First professional experience in financial reporting with strong interest in IT, or IT experience with an interest/ knowledge of financial systems.
• Technical savvy, proficiency using Excel and Microsoft Office is necessary.
• Working experience with SAP ECC, SAP BW4HANA, SAP BPC, PowerBI is an advantage.
• Fluency in English as this is our internal language, any other language is a plus.
• Solid communication and training skills with an ability to bridge between finance and IT languages to clearly explain the process to the targeted audience.

• Ability to prioritize and stay focused managing the pressure from users, prompt communication with the right channel and high sensitivity of the group deadlines.
• Service-minded, willingness to help and continuously seek a way to improve the process and user experience.
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills to perform troubleshooting.
• Ability to work both in a team and take initiatives and responsibilities autonomously.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our modern offices in Prague 4, Prazskeho Povstani metro station.
