Your role

As a Power Technique Trade Compliance Screening Team Lead, your mission is to ensure that all PTBA screening activities are executed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with global sanctions and trade regulations, while continuously improving our screening processes. You will report to the PTBA Trade Compliance Lead.

 

You will: 

 

  • Lead and coach the Enhanced Screening team, ensuring adherence to procedures, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee timely execution, review, and clearance of screening alerts, including complex and high‑risk cases.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for sanctions and restricted‑party screening processes.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, audit readiness, and regular spot checks of screening activities.
  • Manage offline screening for non-connected entities and maintain updated SOPs.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates to screening procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with regional Trade Compliance teams, Customer Centers, and the Basic Screening team.Identify improvement opportunities and enhance KPIs and reporting frameworks.
  • Support implementation of the GTS compliance module and ensure operational readiness.Contribute to PTBA Trade Compliance projects and process improvement initiatives.

  • You have 5+ years of experience working in trade compliance, ideally with a focus on sanctions and screening.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Trade, Logistics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep expertise in sanctions, restricted‑party screening, and trade compliance regulations.
  • Proven experience leading teams and ensuring process adherence.
  • Great analytical, problem‑solving mindset and ability to drive improvements.
  • Experience with compliance systems, screening tools, or global trade solutions such as GTS.
  • You demonstrate innovation, accuracy, customer focus, agility, collaboration, and  a “can‑do” approach aligned with Atlas Copco Group values.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Hub in Prague, Czech Republic (CZ).
