PtP Accountant

Your role
As a PtP Accountant, you will review and maintain accounting records. ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations, provide support and solutions to business areas and financial teams, be point of contact for suppliers and focus on usage of Esker tool and automation, OCR and non-touch processes. You will report to PtP Team Leader.
You will:
- Process transactions (invoices, credit notes)
- Maintain Vendor master data
- Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
- Post invoices into accounting system on a daily and timely basis while ensuring invoices are coded to the correct GL accounts and cost centers
- Prepare payments
- Perform month-end activities and reporting
- Analyze vendor accounts, solve negative balances
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Performance according to KPI, company policy
- Communicate with vendors to resolve account discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries
- Communicate with client, provide support and solutions
- Participate on improvement and optimization projects – supporting TL, PtP Automation Lead
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and special tasks, as assigned

- At least 2 years of experience in the accounts payable area
- Very good command of English, another language is a plus
- Knowledge of ERP SAP is an advantage
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- F&A process understanding & accounting knowledge
- Secondary / university education preferably in economics, accounting or finance
- Ability to work independently
- Drive and ambition to deliver on contractual deadlines and SLAs
- Ability to create and run good relationship within the company and with clients
- Focus on detail and quality
- Accuracy and consistency of data entry
- Ability to prioritize work

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our hub in Prague, Czech Republic (CZ).
