Senior Accountant (ATR)

Your role

As an Accountant, your mission is to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions and records, contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. You will play a key role in maintaining and reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and cost accounting activities. You will report to the Business Controller.

You will be responsible for:

• The preparation of all IFRS based Group reports and other finance documents.
• Company or a number of companies within country/countries.
• Accounting operations and tasks i.e. journal entry.
• Support BAs and Finance team providing professional advices regarding accounting and reporting.
• Ensuring compliance to IFRS and Group standards, Business Code of Practice.
• Assess risk management.
• Internal controls: establish proper level of controls over accounting, taxation and reporting processes. 
• Process and Innovation: actively participate in process and systems improvements.
• Work with internal, external auditors, holdings and local teams.
• Assisting local entities and Holdings in establishing local statutory reporting.
• Controling period end closing and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Project management (internal accounting and reporting projects).
• Support Chief Accountant with miscellaneous operations and tasks.

To succeed, you will need

• 5 years in accounting and finance in international companies.
• Speak and write English at such a level to be able to communicate with your colleagues (onsite/abroad).
• Experience with the analysis of data in Excel, and knowledge of SAP.
• Thoroughness is widely appreciated.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and ability/passion for bringing things to an end. 
• A work permit in the Czech republic/EU is a must.
• Achievement orientation.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our financial hub premises in Prague 4.
