Senior Accountant (ATR) for Turkey

Your role
As a Senior Accountant, your mission is to to help build a Service Center of Excellence in AtR area and provide support to our business areas. You will report to the Chief Accountant.
You will:
- Lead accounting and reporting processes will be responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports and other finance documents
- Be responsible for a company or a number of companies within country/countries
- Assure accounting operations and tasks i.e. journal entry
- Support Business Areas and Finance team providing professional advices regarding accounting and reporting
- Ensure compliance to IFRS and Group standards, Code of Conduct
- Assess risk management
- Establish proper level of controls over accounting, taxation and reporting processes, actively participate in policies and procedures implementation
- Actively participate in process and systems improvements and development
- Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of processes in responsible areas
- Work with internal and external auditors
- Work with Holdings and local teams in the various countries
- Assist local entities and Holdings in establishing local statutory reporting
- Control period end closing
- Prepare reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Actively participate and sometimes lead the internal accounting and reporting projects, including international ones
- Support Chief Accountant with miscellaneous operations and tasks

- 5+ years in accounting and finance
- University / secondary education in economics, accounting and finance
- Very good command of English, another language is a plus
- Advanced Excel and knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems
- Ability to work independently, keeping eye on details
- Good communication skills and Decision making
- Leadership competencies with achievement orientation
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Work permit in EU / The Czech Republic

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our financial hub in Prague, Czech Republic (CZ).
