Senior Accountant (AtR)

Your role

As an Accountant, your mission is to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions and records, contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. You will play a key role in maintaining and reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and cost accounting activities. You will report to the Business Controller.

You will:

• Provide professional services regarding accounting and reporting.
• Internal controls: establish proper level of controls ove accounting, taxation and reporting process, actively participate in policies and procedures implementation.
• Process and innovation: actively participate in process and systems improvements and development.
• Period-end closing.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Cooperation with other accounting and process and innovation teams.

To succeed, you will need

• Ideally, you should have min. 2 years in accounting and finance in international companies.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS.
• Fluent German is a distinct advantage.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) at such level to be able to communicate with your colleagues from abroad is a must.
• Experienced with a large amount of data in Excel and SAP.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Achievement orientation.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Work permit in Czech Republic/EU is a must.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Hub in Prague 4, the Czech Republic.
