Senior Accountant (AtR)

Your role

As a Senior Accountant (AtR), your mission is to help build a Service Center of Excellence in AtR area and provide support to the business areas. 

You will:

• Lead accounting and reporting processes and be responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports and other finance documents
• Be responsible for a company or a number of companies within country/countries
• Be in charge of accounting operations and tasks i.e. journal entry
• Support Business Areas and Finance team providing professional advices regarding accounting and reporting
• Ensure compliance to IFRS and Group standards, Business Code of Practice
• Assess risk management
• Establish proper level of controls over accounting, taxation and reporting processes, actively participate in policies and procedures implementation
• Actively participate in process and systems improvements and development
• Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of processes in responsible areas
• Work with internal and external auditors
• Work with Holdings and local teams in the various countries
• Assist local entities and Holdings in establishing local statutory reporting
• Control period end closing and reconscile balance sheet accounts
• Actively participate and sometimes lead the internal accounting and reporting projects, including international ones
• Support Chief Accountant with miscellaneous operations and tasks

To succeed, you will need

• Ideally, you should have min. 5 years in accounting and finance in international companies with advanced knowledge of IFRS
• University or secondary education in economics, accounting and finance
• English at such level to be able to communicate with your colleagues from abroad
• Experienced with a large amount of data in Excel and SAP
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Achievement orientation and ability to work under strict deadlines
• Work permit in Czech Republic/EU is a must

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Hub in Prague 4, the Czech Republic.
