Your role

As a Senior Accountant | Financial Controller, your mission is to drive reliable financial reporting and insightful analysis while strengthening internal control and supporting business performance and be trusted partner to the business by combining accounting excellence with a proactive controlling mindset.

 

You will:

 

  • Take ownership of accounting and financial controlling activities for assigned scope
  • Ensure accurate and timely IFRS reporting and high-quality financial outputs
  • Drive month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
  • Analyze financial performance, explain variances, and highlight risks and opportunities
  • Partner with Business Controllers and stakeholders to support informed decision-making
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls in line with group principles and standards
  • Prepare and continuously improve reporting, analysis, and management presentations
  • Contribute to standardization, efficiency improvements, and process development
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with policies
  • Actively collaborate across teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

  • Solid experience in accounting and finance (typically 4–6+ years)
  • Good understanding of IFRS, reporting, and end-to-end finance processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to see both detail and broader context
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage) and Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver in a structured way
  • Great communication skills and confidence in working with stakeholders
  • Interest in improving processes and driving efficiency
  • Fluent English

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our hub in Prague, Czech Republic (CZ).
