Software Engineer

Your role

Are you a result-driven.NET developer with a passion for developing innovative solutions for Product Information Management (PIM) systems thriving in environment where your ideas can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our PIM processes?

Then join our PIM development team as a Software Engineer and play a crucial role ensuring our customers have access to accurate and up-to-date product information. Your work will directly impact the customer experience by maintaining the integrity and availability of product data across our customer-facing channels.

As a Software Engineer, your mission is to develop a state-of-the-art PIM solution and thereby contribute to delivering excellent customer experience on our sales channels. You will be part of a small development team consisting of Software Engineers and PIM Product Owner.

You will:

• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
• Specify, design, and develop these functionalities and behaviors.
• Perform complex programming tasks and collaborate with the team on technical design initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Stay on top of the latest innovations in PIM development.
• Drive improvements in development processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the PIM system.
• Develop software by investigating, validating, and integrating promising technologies to enhance the PIM system. 

To succeed, you will need

• 3+ years’ experience in Software Engineering
• Strong skills in .NET (Core and .NET Framework)
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Service Bus, Function App, APIM, App Service, Application Insights
• Good skills with SQL Server
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Front-end experience building SPAs (preferably in React)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Preferably experience with Inriver PIM system and agile development methodologies
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills, enjoying investigating root causes of technical problems and challenges
• Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and self-started attitude
• Taking ownership of tasks from start to results
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn, try new ideas, methods, and technologies

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely from home and being on-site at our premises of Atlas Copco Group ( Prague - Czechia. or Poland).
