Your Role:

The Agentic AI Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling AI-driven solutions to drive process efficiency and automation within Global Business Services (GBS), with a primary focus on finance processes. 
The role will leverage agentic AI capabilities to enhance decision-making, reduce manual effort, and improve service quality across ERP landscapes. Working closely with process and IT stakeholders, the engineer will translate formulated business requirements into intelligent automation solutions. 
The position will play a key role in embedding AI capabilities into core processes across SAP ECC, Microsoft Dynamics, and other ERP environments leveraging Microsoft Azure and modern software engineering practices. The role bridges software development and applied AI, ensuring reliable, maintainable, and business-relevant AI-enabled solutions.

 

Main Responsblities: 

  • Develop and deploy agentic AI solutions using Azure-based services, enabling intelligent automation and AI-driven business capabilities to optimise GBS processes
  • Configure AI capabilities with ERP systems including SAP ECC, Microsoft Dynamics, and Kingdee.
  • Develop, test, validate and deploy AI capabilities within software solutions, including integration of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and retrieval-based approaches that support decision-making and workflow automation.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Monitor performance of AI solutions
  • Contribute to governance, standards, and best practices for AI implementation
  • Stay up to date with emerging AI/automation technologies and recommend innovations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Owners, Solution Architects, Data Engineers, Automation teams) to translate business and technical requirements into integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across integrations, adhering to internal standards, data governance frameworks, and IT security policies.
  • Support end-to-end delivery from concept and prototyping through build, testing, deployment, documentation
  • Ensure solution reliability and quality, including testing, debugging, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Support deployment and lifecycle management of AI applications using DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.

 

To Suceed you will need:

  • Education level
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered. 
  • Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience).
  • +5 years experience in AI/ML development, automation, or intelligent process optimisation.
  • Understanding of finance processes within a GBS or shared services environments would be an advantage
  • Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fulfil the role’s responsibilities) 
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP ECC, Microsoft Dynamics, Kingdee or similar).
  • Strong programming capability (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET, Java)
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, API Management)
  • Practical exposure to AI, generative AI, LLM-based applications, agentic AI concepts, workflow orchestration, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model integration, and AI evaluation approaches.
  • Understanding of full-stack development principles (frontend, backend, databases)
  • Experience with process mining or workflow automation tools (e.g. Power Platform, UiPath)
  • Other requirements (e.g. Language skills; competencies; expected travel requirements)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Experience integrating AI into real-world applications is a strong advantage.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical architecture, AI-related risks, and solution options to both technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent English; ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Awareness of AI ethics, data security, and compliance considerations
