Assistant Manager/ Dy. Manager – SHEQ & Maintenance
As a Assistant Manager/ Dy. Manager- SHEQ & Maintenance, You will report to SHEQ Manager
Main responsibilities
Drive & record all expected SHE processes & evidences for auditors, legal & reporting.
Ownership for regular SHE-IMS certification audit processes,follow all SHE company action plans, with a strong focus on audit non-conformity.
Monitors “permit-to-work” system for on-site contractors, the visitor , employee special permit validity (driving, welding)
Implement an effective Emergency response plan in line with laws & policies to limit damage. Test it and improve .
Investigate accidents, ensure documentation, and implement preventive actions to achieve zero accidents..
Build SHE initiatives to prevent accident like LOTO, LMRA, MMH, PPE, 5S
Assess safety risks using FMEA to rate probability and severity, prioritize actions/investments, and conduct MSDS reviews for chemical hazards.
To organize effective SHE-IMS related trainings.
SHE reporting -edit and update SHE scorecards on time, monitor KPI trends, analyze results, and apply corrective actions or extend best practices to meet targets.
Promote SHE-IMS continuous improvement by tracking accidents/incidents and applying Kaizen and PDCA methods.
To ensure a strict respect of company guidelines, Standard (ISO) & local laws
Organize internal Audits in all company departments (respect of ISO 9001 procedures, effective use of PPE) and react with appropriated correctives & preventives actions.
Legal compliance related to safety, environmental and electrical installations and supply.
To succeed, you will need
To Manage the Plant Electrical/Infrastructure Maintenance & legal compliance
Manage a team in charge of the Preventive Maintenance Plan & Breakdown of the Plant’s infrastructure & equipment, reaching the highest up-time of the manufacturing lines.
Preparing budgets and execution of projects accordingly to control the overall cost.
Waste Management and Facility management,maintenance and compliance of ETP, STP and WTP.
Knowledge / Educational requirements
Electrical Engineer and ADIS will be an added advantage
Knowledge on IMS & Standards ISO 9001, 14001, OSAS18001, EnMS-50001
Technical knowledge on compressors is a benefit.
Fluent in English (mandatory), Hindi, and Marathi need to be learnt quickly if not mother tong
Experience requirements
10+ Years experience in utility maintenance, PLC’s and implementing, maintaining & audit of SHE-IMS, EnMS.
Relevant industry standards (like PED, ISO9001, ISO140001, OHSAS 18001, EnMS-50001), regulation & Company standards.
Product & Site inspection, investigation for safety incidences.
Risk Management
Use of IT tools like MS-Excel, MS-Project, SharePoint.
