As a Assistant Manager- Electrical & Instrumentation You will report to Manager E& I.
- Collaborate across PNB and Group units with a constructive, selfless approach to build synergies, drive efficiency, and achieve shared results—while fostering a spirit of high‑performing teams.
- To perform the activities in E&I Engineering function a sustainable way and to match the target of project deliverables and quality of engineering output.
- Follow the engineering execution process and align with the other functions within ES to meet the on time in full deliveries.
- Release of Technical specification of major items with First Time Right inputs
- Participate in KOM and POM to understand the project requirements and prepare for the Engineering documentation required for customer approval as per SDRL.
- Prepare and maintain the BOM and Engineering drawings with respect to change management system.
- Participate/present Design Review of entire system having all products and ensure compliance of customer technical specifications as well as manufacturing as well as testing + transportation aspects.
- Review and validate the technical offers from vendors and provide engineering comments and approvals.
- Extend support required on shop floor. Attend and provide appropriate solution for the problems on shop floor related to engineering.
- Follow Lessons learnt from previsions projects, take appropriate action, and maintain lessons during the execution.
- Quick response to the internal as well as external Customers and support required to resolve site issues.
To succeed, you will need
Qualifications/Knowledge & Work Experience:
- A Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical/Instruments/Electronic/ Electrical Engineering with 8-12 years of experience with compressor industry/Oil and Gas company/ Rotating equipment industry.
Essential Functions/Skill /Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Capable of Managing Multiple Projects.
- Capable of reading drawings and schematics.
- Experience with essential software like AutoCAD/EPLAN.
- Experience with ERP system/software like BPCS/SAP & Document Management system like Enovia.
- Ability to handle internal /external stakeholders effectively.
- Should have experience in direct team handling with minimum 2-3 people & cross function co-ordination within division and global counterpart
