As a Assistant Manager Proposals-ES, your mission is to You are someone who is well acquainted with the Oil-free Air products and the Atlas Copco Compressor Technique organization. 

You will

• To develop, maintain and continuously improve a clear technical proposal structure through working with colleagues in the Marketing Support Group and the sales teams which can be applied as the basis for all technical proposals and to ultimately contribute to profitable sales of capital equipment 
• To develop a structured method for proposal requests to be submitted, checked, created and recorded whilst gaining required approval from manager.
• To develop, update and maintain as necessary supporting documents for proposals, such as product descriptions, commercial terms and technical datasheets.
• To document and record the process of creating a proposal for all involved to understand.
• To use technical and engineering knowledge to ensure that proposals are presented in a clear and easy to read manner that conveys relevant, accurate and up-to-date technical information..
• To use commercial awareness and experience to ensure that proposals refer to acceptable commercial terms and accurately represent a limited and approved level of commercial risk.
• To work with the Contracts Team to ensure that all proposals are created and recorded in the iC3 system, and that follow-up activities are highlighted and scheduled.
• To ensure that orders are recorded within the system and sales opportunity statuses are updated.
• To communicate, coordinate and prioritize activities with the sales engineers, sales managers and marketing support group in line with business needs .

To succeed, you will need

Experience/Knowledge requirements

You are someone who is well acquainted with the Oil-free Air products and the Atlas Copco Compressor Technique organization (min. 10-12 years of experience within the industry with at least 3 years in the Compression technique or gas generation).

Must be adept in the use of Microsoft packages & should be well conversant with internet based software like iC3 etc. Excellent command of English and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly in written form. 

The following requirements are desirable:
Experience of working in a technical proposal or sales support role. 

Knowledge of ERP software like BPCS as well as POLS & Share point.

Product knowledge of air & gas compressors & related accessories of OFA.

Educational requirements
Technical qualification or experience of working in a technical environment

University Degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent
