Your Role

As a Business Development Manager, you are solely responsible for developing business of Atlas Copco Brand “Mechanical Vapor Recompressor” in initially India (other South Asian regions will follow over time) with an objective of increasing the sales, market presence and market share within the limits of Vacuum Technique structure and guidelines.

Along with your sales target you will be responsible for the following:

Sales and Marketing of ACV MVR Solutions:

  • Market Study, understanding, and developing suitable marketing material for Atlas Copco Brand MVR Solutions
  • Interact closely with the Product Company, Product Managers and simplify the solutions to implement in India and later on in South Asia.
  • Develop local vendors and fabrication facility for Atlas Copco Vacuum MVR Solutions in mainly India.
  • Increase competency of Atlas Copco Sales team and Dealership network by regular classroom and field trainings on vacuum sales approach, applications, and products.
  • Recruit, retain and develop Dealerships in the assigned territory.
  • Prepare sales promotion plans, for activities like customer meet, seminars, email campaign, participation in exhibitions etc.. This activity shall be planned at the beginning of every year and needs to be executed at the regular interval with proper preparation in advance.
  • Develop the Business and achieve the annual Sales targets for MVR Business in India.
  • Develop and execute an MVR business development plan for the wider South Asian region and support them in their growth.

 
To succeed, you will need  

Experience requirements

  • 10+ years in sales or business development from similar MVR / Chemical Process Industry
  • Proposals, Sales, Project Execution and Aftermarket Experience with Mechanical Vapour Recompressor Industry will be added advantage
  • Chemical Engineering Graduation or Chemical background is required.
  • In depth strong thorough Technical acumen is must for the role.
  • Ability and readiness to travel extensively across India

 

Knowledge/ Educational requirements

Engineering degree with strong commercial acumen and sound market knowledge Marketing and management qualification will be an added advantage

  • Energetic, dynamic and self-motivated person with a strong positive attitude
  • Good Interpersonal skills
  • Effective Presentation and Communication Skills
  • Skill in solution selling and developing difficult and new markets for Industrial vacuum solutions.
  • Hard working person with good perseverance
  • Structured and organized person
  • This job requires out station travelling and a valid 4-wheeIer driving license is a must
  • Readiness for traveling extensively
