• Collaborate directly with the General Manager to align and achieve the strategic business growth targets, ensuring robust financial oversight and proactive business support.
• Lead and oversee the Finance and IT departments, fostering a cohesive environment that drives efficiency in financial reporting, data management, and technological advancement.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial information and strategic plans that guide the company's management in making informed decisions and achieving corporate objectives.
• Guide the finance team to produce high-quality financial results and reports promptly, while providing commercially valuable insights that enhance business performance.
• Continuously monitor company performance against set targets, adopting an investigative and analytical approach to address any deviations and suggest corrective measures.
• Manage the preparation and review of statutory financial reports and monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Drive planning and forecasting processes, establishing and maintaining robust internal controls, cost efficiency measures, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
• Ensure that finance and IT systems and procedures are optimized for both compliance and operational effectiveness, meeting the company's needs and adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert advice on cash flow management, variance analysis, and emerging financial trends to optimize profitability and enhance service delivery.
• Manage relationships with all external stakeholders, including insurers and auditors, to ensure timely and compliant business operations.
• Participate actively in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and operational reviews following Atlas Copco's established guidelines, "The Way We Do Things", ensuring consistency and transparency.
• Develop comprehensive tax and financial strategies that support sustainable business growth and risk mitigation.
• Oversee planning and expectancy processes to align financial resources with business objectives.
• Create and analyze key performance metrics that effectively communicate the company’s financial health and business performance to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with third-party providers delivering outsourced functions to ensure continuity and quality of service.
• Prepare detailed reports addressing potential financial risks, mitigation strategies, and the overall financial position of the company for executive board review.
• Evaluate and make investment decisions that maintain a robust and profitable company asset portfolio.
• Partner closely with the IT team to develop streamlined, automated business processes and enhance financial information systems, improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to improve overall business information systems and optimize period-end closing timelines to meet corporate deadlines.
• Champion talent development by identifying, mentoring, and nurturing team members to ensure succession planning and skill enhancement aligned with business needs.
• Take responsibility for managing the company’s insurance portfolio and legal matters, including contracts and litigation oversight, to protect corporate interests.
• Oversee treasury management activities to maintain effective liquidity and safeguard financial stability.

To succeed, you will need

• Possess a university degree and/or recognized professional qualification in finance or accounting.
• Bring a minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience in business controlling or related financial leadership roles.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions is advantageous, showcasing ability to navigate complex financial transactions.
• Have a proven track record of delivering excellent business control and financial governance within previous roles.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint, and relevant platforms such as GPS and SharePoint.
• Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial data to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrate resilience and effective performance under tight deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Show a proactive mindset, willing to challenge existing processes constructively and drive continuous improvement at all organizational levels.
