Role :

Reports to: Business Head – VTBA

As a Business Line Manager, you will drive growth and profitability while reinforcing existing customer relationships. Your role focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality service, understanding and anticipating customer needs, and building trust through transparency and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

- You will strengthen the Vacuum divisions and GECIA relationships with existing projects.

- You will bring value to the PC/ CC / Division (our internal customers) with the services we can offer.

- You will partner with the possible solutions our customers are potentially looking for and bring them to life through our competence portfolio.

- Define and execute the business line strategy for assigned divisions in alignment with VTBA’s overall objectives.

- Lead management (Manage business Leads from the touch points with internal customers ) to maximize value creation and efficient governance of the resources.

- Drive value-based approaches across all the competences being offered.

- Collaborate with the Divisional/Local Teams to identify the Roadmaps and build strategy to engage and add value. Co-create and help them achieve full potential.

- Identify and build new competencies to support the Divisions

Operational Excellence

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the business line, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Service) to deliver customer value.

- Track and report on KPIs, financial performance, and operational metrics.

- Maintain and improve Profitability by Managing costs.

Team & Culture

- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.

- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide vision and support to your project management colleagues.

- Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field); MBA is a plus.

- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in a commercial or technical leadership role.

- Proven track record in business development, P&L management, and customer engagement.

- Experience in a matrix organization and working with global teams is preferred.
