Who are we?

We are a Captiv Global Engineering Center of Atlas Copco Group(GECIA) supporting to various Business verticals, Divisions, Product Companies and Customer Centers  across globe. We are Data Analytics Competence under Digital Technology Practice of this Global Engineering Center. 

We need SAP BW Developer(BW4HANA Product DevOps Engineer) to support Polaris Platform Team of Belgium. Polaris Platform Team Help to us to build and further expand the Atlas Copco Group Data & Analytics platform. Atlas Copco is on its way to a truly data driven organization and our team and platform are core components in this. The platform team takes care of Solution Architecture and Advisory, Platform DevOps, Support and provides Product DevOps capabilities to the organization.

In the role as BW4HANA Product DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the full delivery of new or change requests for data products. You work closely with the internal business to efficiently design, rollout and support data products on our platform

 

What are we looking for?

 

We are looking for 3+ year experienced SAP BW Developer(BW4HANA Product DevOps Engineer) to play key role in working on major projects that may span a broad range of systems, providing subject matter expertise and technical direction to the implementation teams. 

The role will involve close collaboration with the business users, BAs, PMs, and other IT teams to understand business requirements and drive the analysis, design and development of quality technical solutions that are aligned with the business and IT strategies. The SAP BW developer does this while adhering to compliance with organizations architectural standards.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

 

  • Responsible for the full delivery and execution of change requests and projects with regards to the full lifecycle of our data products.
    • translating functional requirements into detailed technical specifications
    • covering the entire development cycle after that: build, core-team testing, assisting in business testing, go-live of the solution, hypercare and handover to support. ·
  • You will have to ensure that the reporting solution is in line with the Polaris design guidelines and adheres to the vision set out by the Polaris solutions and architecture team. ·
  • Solutions will be covering all business domains: HR, logistics, finance, sales, service… ·
  • As a member of the Polaris Product DevOps team, you will be reporting to the Product DevOps team lead and providing technical guidance where needed.

Technology Experiance 

  • 3+ Years of IS/IT, reporting and related processes background.
  • General knowledge of (SAP) ERP Platforms.
  • Knowledge in SAP B4HANA and mixed modeling is a plus, but the desire to learn it is most important.
  • Experience with S4HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS Views), SQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of front-end tools: Analysis for Office, PowerBI and other reporting solutions.
  • Project Management experience is a plus, specifically the Agile methodology.
