Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer - Electrical Design

Your role

Job description / Mission:
- Your main task will be to manage the project and steer the project team in order to deliver project in time, within the budget and according to the Customer Specification.
 The main responsibilities for the Design/Senior Design Engineer are - Collect and interpret information and translate this information into design specification for project team - Play an active and coordinating role for various project teams / cross functional teams -  Manage various projects at a given time while ensuring that project delivery happens on time in full - Completely responsible for project planning.
- Close coordination with the Team Leader on all projects related to the division and with Service Delivery Heads for competence.
- Provide technical support to the project team

To succeed, you will need

 We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer with 3-6 years of design and project execution experience in an engineering or product-based organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and estimating power, control, and instrumentation systems, particularly for engine/motor-driven compressors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and estimation of power, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Sizing and selecting switchgear and instrumentation.
• Panel layout design and wire harness design.
• Cable selection and thorough review of electrical & instrumentation documents.
• Ensure compliance with panel design standards, including IEC, CSA, and UL.
• Contribute to the design, manufacturing, and testing of starter and control panels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage tasks, and ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Education: BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Electronics and Telecommunications.
• Experience: 3-6 years in design and project execution.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 (Schematics, ProPanel, Cogineer is a plus).
• Skilled in AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD Mechanical.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is an advantage.
• Strong command of MS Excel and the MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with ERP Software.

Additional Qualities:

• Strong technical knowledge in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask and lead project activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and travel internationally for assignments (2-3 weeks at a time, up to 1-2 years based on project needs).
