Your role

Mission:

As an Engineer – Prescriptive Maintenance, your mission is to transform equipment and operational data into actionable maintenance intelligence that drives reliability, reduces unplanned downtime, and optimizes asset performance. By combining engineering knowledge with data accuracy discipline this role ensures accurate, timely, and high-quality data integration into the Smart-Maintenance ecosystem. You will be part of the onboarding process of new acquisition to make sure our new colleagues have the necessary service information.  You will be part of dynamic team working on the future of service. You will assist in solving breakdowns faster by linking part numbers to known failure modes and having the technician arrive on site with the correct repair parts.

Your role:

Join our Maintenance Master Data Team and In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that service-related information for our products is accurate, accessible, and aligned across our systems and processes.

As part of the Maintenance Master Data Team, you will help us to:

    • Ensure that all service information is captured in our Advanced Service Definition system and that this data is correctly integrated into our ERP and Quoting applications.
    • Guarantee high-quality, consistent, and complete service data for our products.
    • Collaborate with engineering, product, and service teams to gather and validate technical information needed for maintenance documentation.
    • Maintain and continuously improve documentation standards, templates, and data-governance practices to support efficient service operations.
    • Support the development and enhancement of digital tools, reports, and workflows that improve the accessibility and usability of service data.

To succeed, you will need

Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
    • 1-2 years of experience & knowledge in handling data, querying data, and working with structured information, including SQL language.
    • Background in engineering technical documentation, or a similar field.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex technical datasets.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems, PLM systems, or service-data management is an advantage.
    • Technical knowledge in air compressors or similar industrial machinery is a plus.

Personality requirements

    • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
    • Detail oriented and Quality focused. Ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high standards in documentation.
    • Adaptable and continuous learner.
    • Proactive and Ownership mindset.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Pune Office.
