Your role

This position will be leaving the post order engineerg team (Project enginnering, Mechnical Enginnering & EI enginnering team). The team respsobility will be as follows.

  • Accountable for all Edwards project engineering activities for all the segments /types of systems.
  • Lead and manage all post-order engineering activities for projects within the System & Solutions, ensuring successful project execution from order receipt through shipment and commissioning support.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of customer specifications, project requirements, process datasheets, PFDs, P&IDs, API standards, and other technical documents, ensuring all requirements are accurately incorporated into engineering deliverables.
  • Prepare Technical Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Material Requisitions (MRs), and Purchase Requisitions (PRs) based on customer specifications, technical proposals, and system requirements. Coordinate with procurement teams and review supplier technical offers, drawings, and documentation to provide technical approvals for purchasing and manufacturing.
  • Manage post-order engineering documentation, including preparation and approval of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), equipment datasheets, system layouts, and other customer deliverables while maintaining project schedules and profitability targets.
  • Participate in HAZOP studies, SIL reviews, and 3D model reviews, ensuring technical compliance and obtaining necessary customer approvals during project execution.
  • Drive the implementation of engineering best practices and standards throughout package design and manufacturing processes to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
  • Prepare and present periodic project progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders, conduct project review meetings, and provide timely updates on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Engage directly with customers through technical discussions, design reviews, and site visits to resolve engineering issues, expedite approvals, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Visit supplier facilities to conduct inspections and technical assessments of critical bought-out components and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Support Quality Control and Manufacturing teams during assembly, testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and obtain required dispatch clearances for successful shipment.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Service, and Product Development teams to support business growth, customer engagement, and new product initiatives.

Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities, value-engineering initiatives, and continuous improvement projects, and productivity enhancement programs.

To succeed, you will need

  • Strong technical knowledge of vacuum technologies, rotating equipment, process systems, and package engineering, including interpretation and application of industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Strong experience in handling Engineered-to-Order (ETO) packages within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries, with a thorough understanding of project execution requirements and industry practices.
  • Proven project management capabilities with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Sales, and Service to ensure successful project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, EPC contractors, consultants, and other key project stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
  • Experience in conducting and participating in HAZOP, SIL studies, design reviews, 3D model reviews, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
  • Strong understanding of international codes, standards, and specifications including API, ASME, ISO, IEC, ATEX, and customer-specific engineering requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk mitigation, continuous improvement, cost optimization, value engineering, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
