Job Description: Field Service Engineer, Pune

Key Responsibilities:

 

Field Service & Technical Support

  • Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, and preventive maintenance of tightening tools ( Electric, and DC tools).
  • Diagnose tool failures, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely repair at customer sites.
  • Provide breakdown support on priority to minimize customer production downtime.
  • Carry out torque validation, tool performance checks, and process parameter settings as per customer requirements.

Customer Support & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customers.
  • Communicate service findings, recommendations, and action plans to customers in a professional manner.
  • Support customers in application issues, and basic process improvements.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through timely visits, follow-ups, and feedback handling.

 Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare service reports, inspection sheets, and calibration certificates accurately and submit them on time.
  • Maintain service records, spare parts usage, and tool history data.
  • Update CRM or service portals with service activities, customer updates, and closure details.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management

  • Ensure availability of necessary spare parts for service activities.
  • Provide inputs for stocking critical spares based on field observations.
  • Handle tools and parts responsibly, ensuring proper documentation for movement and usage.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety protocols during field service activities.
  • Ensure tools and equipment meet compliance standards, customer safety norms, and company guidelines.
  • Educate customers on safety practices related to tool operation and maintenance.
