Your Role :

 

To produce and deliver pertinent analysis, planning and reporting, on the financial information of Vacuum Technique Information Systems (VTIS). This will cover the global spend within VTIS (across all VT brands).

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  1. Prepare, understand, and able to present pertinent analysis of VTIS costs, understanding key drivers and trends, along with identifying opportunities and risks. This is a significant level of spend, with much focus from management.
  2. Production of bridges (year on year, month on month etc) presented with clear understanding and analysis.
  3. Support the VTIS controller and VTIS management on forecast and 3 year plan processes, to include analysis and bridges from current spend, explaining key variances and drivers of such differences.
  4. Identify areas of opportunity for cost saving and efficiency within VTIS, supporting VTIS team with spend review and control.
  5. Pivotal in understanding and analysing the divisional allocations of VTIS spend, being able to present and discuss the trends applicable to specific divisions.
  6. Production and standardisation of various reports, including use of PowerBI.
  7. Production of VTIS board pack, collating and presenting overview of the spend.
  8. Partner with project owners on cost tracking and planning, assessing risks, variance to plan and overspend, taking steps to reduce risk.
  9. Identify and support positive change to overall finance processes within VTIS.
  10. Responsibility for VTIS recharges around the group and be key point of contact for controllers on discussing changes to planned recharges, being able to explain the reason and justification of the changes.
  11. Contribute to areas of wider control and governance including cost centre allocation and Internal order creation for VTIS projects. Other areas include GL usage and P&L structure, licensing and general processes.
  12. Ad hoc analysis as and when required, this could come from one of many stakeholders, including BA management, entity management and VTIS staff.
  13. Support AP Team with correct coding for invoices and make sure all costs are booked, or accurate for every month end closing.
  14. Develop and maintain relationships with VTIS teams including management.
  15. Cooperate with PMO team in Timesheet app improvements. Create analysis, accruals and approve invoices based on approved Timesheet data.
  16. Be responsible for the following tasks related to GBS IT India:
    • Approval of Ereqs
    • Provide support to management GBS IT as needed
    • Month-end closing related tasks:
    • Review headcount reporting
    • Review salary journal entry
    • Provide AtR team following recurring JE:
    • Gratuity
    • Overhead re-allocation
    • VC provision
    • Year-end unused vacation

To succeed, you will need:

 

  • University / High School Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a general accounting, reporting process or experience from controlling area
  • Focus on MS Excel and/or MS Access required
  • Advanced verbal and written English required
  • Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail
  • Effective communicator who considers the customer which he is delivering information and acts accordingly
  • Organized but also flexible in managing multiple tasks with different priority and deadline
