Flow Team Manager-IAT

As a Flow Team Manager -IAT,  You will report to Head Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:-

  • Shop Floor Management:

     As the Flow Team Manager, mission is to sustainably drive the Manufacturing processes across all dimensions to achieve operational efficiency, cost efficiency, and innovation.

     Drive the Flow team in close coordination with production line leaders, Methods, Quality, and SCM planning teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements.Ensure Maintenance of production equipment and assets efficiently.

    Way to Operational Excellence

    The goal is to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction, product quality, and profitability, attaining safety and sustainability goals.

    Through effective people management and competence development, evaluate employees, identify training needs via skill matrices, and coordinate with HR to provide necessary training, enhancing the overall flexibility and skills of our operators.

     Sustainability

    Support environmental sustainability initiatives in operations.

    Create a sustainable organization where processes are not dependent on individuals.

    Team development & Customer Satisfaction 

     Motivate and engage the operating team to identify Kaizen opportunities, address safety risks, and effectively utilize Kaizen and TIA Safety applications.

     Drive and support initiatives for efficiency improvement, scrap reduction, customer rejection analysis, and WIP reduction. Ensuring compliance with relevant IMS, legal, company safety, and quality standards, actively participate in and support internal and external product, process, and safety audits.

     Embracing digitalization, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives, create agile plans to adapt to demand fluctuations while meeting safety, quality, and cost requirements efficiently.

    Drive methodical problem solving using A3, D.O.E. (Design of Experiments), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and PPSR (Practical Problem-Solving Report) to address significant issues impacting monthly OI targets and Quality compliance.

To succeed, you will need

Qualifications/Knowledge &  Work Experience: -

  • Technical degree from a recognized University, in (Mechanical/Electrical/Production/Industrial) Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Post-Graduation in business management/Engineering is preferred.
  • 10 to 12 years’ experience in Production – Assembly environment out of which 3 to 5 years in leadership position
  • Process Engineering and Quality Management experience is desirable.
  • Experience in SAP /ERP system.
  • Knowledge of Modern Manufacturing tools like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen,TPM or similar improvement methodologies and business excellence is necessary.
  • Exposure of working in MNC with matrix reporting.
