GBS Agentic AI Solution Architect

Your Role:

The Agentic AI Solution Architect designs and delivers robust, scalable, and secure software and AI solutions, with specific focus on agentic AI capabilities, intelligent automation, and enterprise-grade platform integration. The role combines senior full-stack software engineering expertise with practical AI solution delivery experience to ensure that AI-enabled solutions are architecturally sound, business-relevant, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards, risk requirements, and long-term technology strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver full-stack software and agentic AI solutions that meet business, technical, security, and architectural requirements. 
• Translate business needs and use cases into scalable solution designs, including application architecture, data flows, integration patterns, AI components, and backend services. 
• Develop or guide the development of high-quality software components, APIs, orchestration layers, user interfaces, and integrations required to operationalize AI and automation solutions. 
• Assess technical impacts, dependencies, risks, and architectural trade-offs of AI-enabled solutions, ensuring appropriate controls for reliability, explainability, security, privacy, and maintainability. 
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Data Engineers, Integration Engineers, Automation teams, and business stakeholders to define solution scope, delivery approach, and implementation standards. 
• Ensure that AI and agentic solutions are designed with appropriate governance, monitoring, fallback mechanisms, access controls, and human-in-the-loop considerations where required. 
• Support end-to-end delivery from concept and prototyping through build, testing, deployment, documentation, and transition to operational support.
• Drive continuous improvement of software engineering and AI delivery practices by promoting reusable components, standard architecture patterns, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.

To Suceed you will need:

• Education level
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience)
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise software solutions, preferably in a senior full-stack developer, software architect, solution architect (6+ years).
• Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fullfil the role’s responsibilities)
  • Strong full-stack engineering capability, including backend services, APIs, frontend applications, databases, authentication, deployment practices, and application lifecycle management. 
  • Practical exposure to AI, generative AI, LLM-based applications, agentic AI concepts, workflow orchestration, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model integration, and AI evaluation approaches. 
  • Strong understanding of solution architecture principles, integration patterns, data flows, cybersecurity, identity and access management, logging, monitoring, and operational resilience. 
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems, data platforms, ERP systems, document repositories, workflow tools, or automation platforms into scalable solution designs. 
  • Ability to assess technology risks, business impacts, dependencies, non-functional requirements, and architectural constraints for AI-enabled and software-based solutions.
  • Deep understanding of agentic flow orchestration, including the ability to design, coordinate, and optimize interactions between multiple agents, human inputs, and enterprise systems across complex, event-driven workflows.
  • Strong capability to define and govern architectural patterns for agentic AI, ensuring seamless interoperability, scalability, and resilience across distributed components, while managing dependencies, state, and decision logic across agents.
  • In-depth knowledge of system interaction models and integration layers required for agentic AI implementations, enabling effective alignment between orchestration frameworks, enterprise backends, and user interfaces while avoiding bottlenecks and ensuring end-to-end flow continuity.
• Other requirements (e.g. Language skills; competencies; expected travel requirements)
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and with DevOps practices, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, release management, and production support. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical architecture, AI-related risks, and solution options to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Fluent English; ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
