Your role

Mission

We are seeking an Identity & Access Management Specialist to support enterprise IAM operations across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, privileged access, and identity governance platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on technical experience, sound security judgment, and the ability to improve reliability through automation and clear operational practices.

Role Purpose

This role is ideal for a senior IAM operations professional who can resolve complex incidents, assess access risk, support enterprise-scale identity services, and collaborate with global IT, Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Application teams.

IAM Operations and Service Delivery

• Provide advanced operational support for enterprise IAM platforms and services.
• Manage identity lifecycle activities including provisioning, deprovisioning, access changes, access reviews, and role-based assignments.
• Administer Conditional Access, MFA, authentication methods, enterprise applications, app registrations, and related Microsoft Entra ID controls.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, authorization, synchronization, and directory service issues.

To succeed, you will need

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in IAM, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, infrastructure security operations, or related enterprise IT operations, preferably in a ticket-driven environment such as ServiceNow.
• Strong Active Directory and hybrid identity experience, including delegation, GPOs, replication, permissions, Microsoft Entra ID integration, and AD-integrated DNS fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, app registrations, enterprise applications, authentication methods, Microsoft Graph concepts, and Azure RBAC.
• Advanced PowerShell skills for production administration, bulk operations, logging, exception handling, and safe automation; Azure automation experience is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate access requests using least-privilege principles.
• Experience with IGA or PAM tools such as One Identity, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Delinea, Netwrix, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong incident triage, documentation, escalation, and communication skills, including the ability to support global handover and explain technical risk in practical business terms.
• Ability to correlate identity data across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint tools, and governance systems to identify control gaps and remediation opportunities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, identity protection alerts, or security operations workflows.
• Experience supporting Zero Trust controls, Conditional Access tuning, exception governance, and sign-in risk review is highly desirable.
• Experience converting repeatable manual IAM activities into safe, documented automation with measurable service benefits.
• Ability to produce IAM metrics, dashboards, access review reports, audit evidence, and management summaries using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Experience contributing to IAM roadmaps, standards, control improvement plans, operational maturity, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.

Option 2: Hybrid

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco in Pune, Hinjewadi Phase 1.
