Your Role Overview

You will play a vital role as an IT Operations Specialist within our Global IT Hub, focusing on Certificate Lifecycle, DNS & Domain Management, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).

Certificate Lifecycle Management

• Manage our Certificate Lifecycle Management tools and solutions to ensure secure and reliable digital certificate handling across all platforms.
• Maintain an accurate and comprehensive inventory of digital certificates and their dependencies within our corporate environment.
• Design and implement automation strategies to monitor, alert, renew, and deploy digital certificates, minimizing risk of outages or security breaches.
• Advise and collaborate with stakeholders on certificate selection, application integration, and adoption of industry best practices for PKI and cryptographic security.

DNS & Domain Management

• Oversee both internal and external DNS infrastructures to guarantee robust and secure name resolution services supporting business operations worldwide.
• Support teams in creating, updating, and validating DNS records, ensuring changes are accurately documented and automation processes are reliable.
• Manage domain lifecycle activities, including acquisitions, renewals, and transfers while mitigating domain-related security risks in close collaboration with cyber security teams.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows to streamline DNS request processing and lifecycle management services.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Administer hybrid identity environments combining Active Directory with Entra ID to provide seamless authentication and authorization.
• Manage Group Policy Objects (GPO), directory structures, and identity configurations to enhance security and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot authentication mechanisms such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Conditional Access policies.
• Support application integration using protocols like SAML and OpenID Connect, and manage service principal configurations within Azure environments.
• Oversee Azure resource management including subscription, resource group, and role-based access control (RBAC) assignments to ensure compliance and accessibility.

Automation & Operations Excellence

You will develop and maintain scripts and automation solutions (preferably in Python) to optimize operational workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance reliability across certificate, DNS, and identity services. Your expertise will foster continuous improvement initiatives by standardizing processes, documenting workflows, and sharing knowledge with regional teams to enable effective adoption of best practices globally. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will provide guidance, training, and support to cross-functional teams ensuring IT service excellence in a global, fast-paced environment.

• A minimum of 7 years IT experience with proven expertise in enterprise or shared service settings.
• Strong hands-on experience (3+ years) managing SSL/TLS certificates, including lifecycle processes and tools like OpenSSL, Certbot, and ACME.
• Solid background (5+ years) with directory services and hybrid identity frameworks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DNS architecture, domain lifecycle management, and certificate technologies.
• Proficiency with automation tools and scripting, especially Python, to drive operational efficiency.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.

Job location

This position is based in Pune, at the Atlas Copco office located in Hinjewadi Phase 1. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement that provides the flexibility to work remotely part of the time and collaborate onsite as required, promoting a balanced and productive work environment.
