IT Purchase Administrator

Your role
Mission:
Deliver cost savings, efficiency gains, and best practices across IT purchasing projects. Manage contracts, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of IT assets and services aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Asset Leasing & Procurement: Laptops, desktops, printers, servers, peripherals, consumables, software, and licenses.
- Projects: Support IT infrastructure for new offices, renovations, and upgrades. Coordinate BOQs, vendor negotiations, and material delivery.
- Vendor Management: Develop new vendors, negotiate contracts/SLAs, monitor execution, and resolve payment issues.
- Asset Management: Track deliveries, installations, and updates in asset tools (SNOW, RITM). Maintain stores and prepare reports.
- Annual Maintenance Contracts: Renew AMC for UPS, servers, switches, and data center systems.
- ERP & Tools: Work on SAP/SRM/ECC, Esker, SharePoint, and vendor management tools for PR/PO, invoicing, and payments.
- Data & Reporting: Prepare savings sheets, comparative reports, and reconciliation with finance.
- Telecommunication: Finalize ILL and manage telecom-related requests.
- Other: Support procurement of specialized IT equipment, manpower, and video conferencing solutions.
To succeed, you will need
Skills & Experience:
- Strong procurement, leasing, and vendor management knowledge.
- Commerce post-graduate; Supply Chain/Material Management qualification preferred.
- Business acumen, negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, and vendor billing.
- Experience in contracts, car leasing, and telecom services.
Personality Requirements:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Prompt, efficient, and responsive service delivery.
- Sound judgment and attention to detail.
Educational requirements
- A commerce Post graduate. Qualification in Supply Chain/Material Management would be an added advantage
- Strong business acumen combined with commercial awareness
- Understanding of the supply chain
- Negotiation and problem solving skills
- Strong communications skills is a must
- Strong analytical, attention to detail and organization skills
- Experience in Car leasing, Contracts and Telecommunication Services
- Excellent Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of EPurchase, BPCS or prior experience in ERP
- Experience in handling vendor billing, invoicing, etc.
