Within the Service Division of Compressor Technique, we are committed to achieving optimal availability of components and services, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. Our data team spans three locations and includes members from ten different nationalities, all working together to deliver data-driven insights. Job Description:
We’re seeking a Lead Data Engineer passionate about building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data flows, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You’ll collaborate across departments to shape purposeful data products and ensure insights are accessible and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, reusable code base, data assets and pipelines (ETL/ELT).
- Own end-to-end data products: define purpose, roadmap, and delivery.
- Advise on data model design and architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver SMARTLINK IoT-based reports.
- Lead projects end to end (inception to adoption)
To succeed, you will need
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years in data engineering, strong in SQL, Python, and data modelling.
- Experience with BI principles, dimensional modelling, and visualization.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and documentation practices.
- Interested in modern technologies and industrial data contexts.
- Knowledge of Azure tools (e.g., Databricks) is a plus.
- Understanding of agile methodologies or product ownership principles.

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
