Atlas Copco Group seeks an experienced Salesforce developer to empower our business operations team.

You will be responsible for creating custom software applications on the Salesforce platform that meet our specific requirements for client management and other daily operations. You will also integrate Salesforce with existing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security and providing technical support whenever required.

The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in developing and customising Salesforce applications, as well as experience in designing and implementing complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities

A Salesforce developer has a range of responsibilities essential to optimizing CRM platforms and ensuring their functionality. These include:

• Designing and building Salesforce applications. Developing scalable, secure, and customized solutions using tools such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components to meet business requirements.
• Customizing Salesforce workflows. Creating and configuring custom objects, automation tools, and workflows tailored to streamline organizational processes.
• Integrating Salesforce with external systems. Designing and developing APIs and web services to ensure seamless communication between Salesforce and other applications.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues. Diagnosing, resolving, and documenting technical problems to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge of development practices for continuous integration and delivery. 
• Design Patterns: Understanding of reusable design solutions for building complex applications. 
• Collaborating with stakeholders. Partnering with project managers, business analysts, and other team members to deliver on project objectives and timelines.
• Enhancing user experience. Using tools like Salesforce Lightning to improve the user interface and ensure ease of use for end-users.
• Optimizing data workflows. Implementing efficient data modeling, data processing pipelines, and reporting mechanisms for streamlined data management.
• Developing dashboards and analytics tools. Building insightful dashboards to track key metrics and inform decision-making processes.
• Staying current with Salesforce technologies. Continuously learn and adopt new features, tools, and Salesforce solutions to deliver innovative, cutting-edge services.
• Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator.
• Proficiency in Apex, JavaScript, SOQL, HTML, and CSS, and familiarity with Python, MySQL, or other database tools.
• Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Expertise in data modelling, debugging, and implementing salesforce solutions that align with business needs.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce pages, automation tools, and dashboards.

What we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8 years plus of demonstrable experience in SalesForce development.
• Proficient understanding of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning framework, Salesforce service cloud and Salesforce marketing cloud.
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce and other Salesforce development technologies.
• Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong Functional and analytical analysis skills and experience.
