Lead Test Automation Engineer

Your role
You have Computer Science Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech. or M.Tech.) qualification from a reputed university
- You have an exclusive experience of 10+ years in software testing using Python/Advanced Python
- Experience with Web Application and REST API Testing
- You have strong understanding of Software Development & Testing Life Cycle
- Good knowledge and understanding of software testing principles, practices, processes, methods, techniques, and tools is a MUST
- You are working in an Agile and DevOps environment
- You have experience using Jenkins, GIT, BitBucket, Docker, JIRA, and Confluence
- You have an experience working with Linux, KVM and open-source systems
- Strong interest towards Software Quality Assurance

- 10+ years hands-on experience with Python, Selenium/Behave/Playwright framework
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, UI, API, and database testing (functional and automation).
- Programming Proficiency: Expertise in Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.
- Automation Skills: Proven hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Good to have skills:
- Agile Experience: Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence or Azure DevOps.
- Translate Gherkin/Cucumber feature files into executable automated tests
- Knowledge of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) software development approach
- Ensure the code is fully optimized following PEP8 standard
- Have an eye for details and ensure good documentation is prepared as part of delivery process
- ISTQB Foundational level certification is an added advantage
- Take complete ownership of the deliverables with “First Time Right” approach
- You are a real team player and like to learn from experts, peers, and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Self-organizing, self-managing and willingness to learn new things

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco Group in Pune, India (IN).
